What do you get when you combine our fast course, great crowd support and incredible pre- and post-race fun? Lots of Boston Qualifiers! In fact, nearly 20 percent of our marathon field qualifies for the Boston Marathon each year. With the Boston Marathon just around the corner, we’re celebrating with the Great Boston Guess-A-Thon social media contest. You have the opportunity to participate in TWO guessing contests for a chance to win one of three $100 Amazon gift cards! Here’s how it works:

Contest #1:

How hot will Boston Marathon day be? Post your best guess of what the HIGH temperature will be on race day on our Facebook wall, Twitter, or Pinterest page! The contest starts today and ends THIS Friday. Then, on April 15 – Boston Marathon race day – we’ll check the high temperature in Downtown Boston reported at www.accuweather.com. The person with the closest guess will win a $100 Amazon gift card!

Contest #2:

Between Monday, April 1, and Sunday, April 14, post your best guess (hours, minutes AND seconds) of the winning time for the top male and female finishers from Ohio on our Facebook wallTwitter, or Pinterest page. The winners for the closest male time and female time will each receive a $100 Amazon store card!

Contest rules: You can offer answers for the high temperature on Boston Marathon race day, and the top Ohio finishing times for both men and women, but each person may only win once. If no one selects the exact temperature or finishing time, the person with the next closest temperature and time will be determined the winner. Also, if ties arise, we will pick a name out of a hat to determine the winners. Please post your best guess on our Facebook wallTwitter, or Pinterest page within the time frame designed for each contest. Also, be sure to include @Cbusmarathon in your Twitter response and comment on our Pinterest pin so that we see it!
