Tip #5: Got Questions? Get Them Answered Before the Race

As we put the final preparations in place for this year’s race, we’ll be sharing “26 Tips for 26.2 Miles” to make sure you’re ready to go on race day. Click here to read them all, or follow along on FacebookTwitterPinterest and Instagram.

Tip 5 - Get questions answered liveWith less than one month left until the 2013 Nationwide Children’s Hospital Columbus Marathon & 1/2 Marathon, you’re likely going to have plenty of questions pop into your head about what to do on race day …

“What time should I get there?”

“What happens once I get in my corral?”

“Where should I tell my family to meet me after the race?”

If these questions, or any others, have crossed your mind, then today’s tip is for you: We’ve got two chances this year for you to get your pre-race questions answered live!

Join us Thursday, September 26, at noon for a live Facebook Q&A with Race Director Darris Blackford. Got questions about the course, last-minute training preparation, race day logistics, or anything else? Here’s how to get them answered:

  1. Head over to The Columbus Marathon’s Facebook page at noon on September 26.
  2. Once we post a call for questions to get the chat started, simply add yours in the comments.
  3. Then, Darris will respond live with his race day tips and advice.
