Staying properly hydrated is essential for both your safety and performance during the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Columbus Marathon & 1/2 Marathon.
Today’s tip: Know when and where to fuel up along the course.
FLUID & GEL STATIONS
We’ll have 17 fluid stations set up along the course this year. Each station will have two sets of tables: The first set of tables will offer Gatorade Lemon Lime Endurance Formula and the second set will offer water. We’ll also have Mocha (caffeinated), Raspberry, Citrus and Vanilla ClifShot energy gels around miles 8.5 and 17.
Each station will also have several porta-potties not too far from the tables, if you need to make a pit stop while you’re hydrating.
