April 11 marks the 25th anniversary of the 1992 Men’s Olympic Trials in Columbus, and we are marking the occasion in a fun way!
Tomorrow, April 11, at 6 p.m., meet our Race Director Darris Blackford at the spot where the Trials’ Finish Line was located (yes, that’s right – the 1992 Trials’ Finish Line … where was it? We aren’t telling!)
The first five people to meet Darris at the EXACT SPOT where the 1992 Trials’ Finish Line was located will get one of the Tyvek jackets presented to the Trials’ runners that day. Retro cool!
Wear your workout clothes and afterward you can enjoy a nice run or walk on the beautiful Downtown riverfront – oops, that sounds like a hint! (here are a few more rolled into one … the spot is supremely patriotic and civic, although now a little fishy).
Can’t make it? Everyone who sends an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line “TRIALS” by Midnight, April 11, will be entered into a drawing to win two VIP passes for this year’s race!
